The sisters who dance clogs are like mirror images as they command the stage with their lightning-fast moves…

Sisters Lauren and Kaylee Thomas are both dancers in the Thomas family.

The judges at the Clogging Champions of America in 2016 were so impressed by their performance that they awarded them the title of grand champions.

Clogging is a hobby that is very important to both of Lauren and Kaylee Thomas, two sisters who live in Kentucky. They have been performing this kind of dance since they were young, and over their time together as a pair, they have garnered a great deal of recognition and accomplished a lot of remarkable things.

When it comes to dancing, uniformity is quite important since it helps the whole performance seem more polished and synced. Due to the fact that they were sisters, they had the upper hand. It’s almost as if your eyes are pulling a joke on you when they move in such perfect harmony with one another. But the truth is that they are not identical twins. There is a significant age gap between the two, with Lauren serving as the elder sibling of the duo.

What exactly is “clogging”?

Clog dance includes heavy steps and hitting one shoe with the other, generating rhythms and noises that mirror those created by the milling machines, according to Historic UK.

In the past, judges would sit either under the stage or behind a screen during contests. This enabled them to give scores to performances based only on the noises that were produced. This dance style is very similar to Irish step dancing in that just the legs and feet move while the arms and body stay static.

Due to the fact that it is a competition, this specific performance demonstrates the sisters’ clogging abilities to their fullest potential. The twangy melody is well matched to their lightning-fast feet, which clog the stage superbly. The two young ladies’ grins persisted throughout the duration of the performance, even though they spent much of it with their hands clasped or their arms linked with each other.

According to Doubletoe Times, Kaylee started clogging when she was five years old, while Lauren did so when she was three. They made an appearance on the game program Figure It Out, which airs on Nickelodeon, in the year 2012. In addition, they showcased their abilities on an episode of The Gong Show in 2018 with a performance under the name The Terror Tap Twins.
