Given Shania Twain’s reputation for daring style choices and bold looks, it came as no surprise that her ensemble at the Lytham Festival earlier this month attracted a lot of attention.
Twain, who is now 58 years old, enthralled the assembled audience on July 4 at the Lytham Festival in the UK, demonstrating that she still has the style and ability to captivate an audience.
Following her performance, the Canadian singer-songwriter posted a six-photo carousel to her Instagram account with the following caption: “All right, so you’re Ken? That really does amaze me! 😂 Meet Ken, for any of you who missed my show last night! Over the years, he has [gone] all over the world to see me perform, and I got to repay the favor by [going] to play in gorgeous Lytham. This time, all he had to do was get the bus to my event! 🥰😂
Twain looked great in an orange puffer jacket and black cowboy hat throughout her performance. Still, her legs were the center of attention, especially when they were shown off under a pair of black fishnet tights.
Fans of the country singer responded to her daring costume on social media, with many expressing conflicting opinions about whether or not Twain’s appearance was successful.
To look that wonderful at 58, I believe the majority of women would ❤️. “Shania is a gorgeous woman and an extraordinarily talented performer,” an admirer said.
“We really do love you❤️🙌,” wrote another.
“Looking amazing ❤️,” a third person commented.
But nonetheless, some people had a little more criticism for Shania’s attire selections.
On Instagram, someone wrote: “What’s happened to your legs?” Thus thin?”
Another said, “No shape anymore, no curves, stick legs.”

A third disapproving admirer remarked, “What is she wearing? Is that something to wear underwear? Rather tasteless. Why the frantic need for approval? She was never like this in the past.
The singer was merely instructed to “put some clothes on” by a fourth.
Whatever the opinions expressed on the internet, Twain’s performance at the Lytham Festival appears to have gone over very well. Her performance of her classic song That Don’t Impress Me Much—which has received almost 196 million streams online—was one reportedly noteworthy moment.
One of her most well-known anthems, “Man! I Feel Like A Woman!”, was the 58-year-old’s choice to end the evening.
